Weird experience dining here tonight- The front of the house girl with straight bleached blonde hair was really rude. As we were being seated, she noticed I was carrying a takeaway drink. She literally tried to snatch it out of my hands saying they weren't allowed...? Ok, rules are rules, but I had no idea about this beforehand. I also don't understand why she had to be so unpleasant about it, instead of informing me politely like any average person would ? When my partner intervened, she abruptly plonked the cup on the windowsill right behind me and told me to not drink out of the cup like I was 5 years old. Food is pretty subpar I guess, the 20 salmon avocado roll I ordered tbh tasted like supermarket sushi. Salmon was not fresh, avocado was browned and rice was super cold, like it was refrigerated beforehand or something. Was expecting better for the price! I try to support local businesses given the recent pandemic and hate to leave a bad review, but the said staff member's irrational behaviour really tainted our experience. We won't be coming back to this place again.

Seems like a lovely place, and has lovely staff, but to say the food was disappointing is an understatement. We ordered a "large sharing plate" of teriyaki salmon, and what arrived was a small plate with two medium-sized salmon steaks sitting in a sad pool of teriyaki sauce. The salmon tasted as if frozen, it was overcooked (dry..), and the teriyaki sauce seemed to just be from a jar. That was all. It was hardly shareable, despite coming in at a cost of 28. Absolutely ridiculous, would not recommend.
Great food, served quickly, (we were going to a concert). Watching the chefs at work is like having a floor show!
Sushi over here is incredible, and if you are a fan - you cannot go wrong with this place. Even if the range is not that wide - anything you choose will be finger licking. Cheese on the sticks was very good. One thing that was a bit surprising- we didn’t finish our salmon and asked to pack it away with us. We were given an empty plastic box, to do it ourselves :)
We booked the private dining room for my partner's birthday. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The room was great and the decor felt like we were in Japan again. Because we were a big group it was really nice to see the Manager allowing complementary Sake shots for some of us, which added to the overall experience. The food was nice, the portion probably on the smaller side for what you paid but that's ok, we came for the experience. Thank you Momo and Team for a great evening! :)

Came here during closing hours and staffs are still quite nice and friendly. Delicious food and price are okay.
