Today, 12 of August of 2018 at 3pm I was driving through northern motorway, north east from the CBD when the Taxi with plates "GDK604" from COOPTAXI almost crash my car when he was trying to change lanes. He didn't care about it and kept driving after that. He didn't stop, he didn't wave, he didn't do anything. You need to be more strict of who you are hiring, I could be seriously harmed. UPDATE: They call me today, they apologies and said that they will speak with the driver. So, 1 extra star for the staff in there.
Have used these guys 6 times over the past week. Always turned up at times requested. Fast and friendly. Even had one driver ask me if I knew which way, of the two routes offered that were much the same distance, was the fastest. Great service. Will definitely use them again.
Before today, I would have given these guys four stars (minus one for how expensive they are). They are quick to respond and polite. I've used their service dozens of times and never encountered a problem as the drivers were great. Today however, I waited a little bit longer for a cab which is okay as they might be busy. After about 30 minutes the cab comes up the driveway and am told I'm not allowed to enter his cab. The reason? My jacket apparently had too many pet hairs. It's the same black jacket I've worn before and if I could post a picture of it here you would see how absolutely insane this sounds. After calling to complain, I was put on hold for 20 minutes and realized that my complaint and this drivers service are equally meaningless. There are other better and cheaper cab services in NZ to use where you're not instantly rejected the second you open the door. What makes this even more incredible is that I don't have pets.
Would have been good if they actually showed up at the booked time, instead of calling 45 minutes later asking where we were. (We were at our destination after deciding they werent coming after 20 minutes with no phone call from dispatcher or any the driver to say they were going to be late) We don’t ask for much, just a taxi that shows up at the agreed time at the agreed place.
Booked a cab online well in advance for a 5.45pm pick up, no show by 6.00pm so phoned. "Sorry sir we don't have a cab available for you yet". I politely told them my thoughts and to flag it and made other arrangements to get to where we were going. 6.30pm got a call from a cab driver waiting outside home to pick me up!! Zero service, zero customer communication and 1 star as I could not post this with no star.
Absolutely terrible. I ordered a Auckland Co-Operative taxi about a month ago. It was a Saturday night a bunch of mates and myself were heading into town for a guys night out. Unfortunately the phone operator had difficulty with my accent, unusual?! I've a very clear accent as I've lived in Auckland as far as I can remember. I could understand him very well, he seemed to think different eitherwise! He was VERY rude and had the nerve to laugh at my speech! He even had the cheek to laugh while putting me on hold!!! When he came back to REALITY I clearly heard him loud and clear speaking and mumbling in Indian! And enjoying a good laugh! To a fellow worker perhaps? Maybe he was speaking to himself?? I'm not being racist, I'm just stating a general fact for the sake of it. He then put me through to a nice elderly lady who had very pleasant manners, and without LAUGHING AT ME assisted me, well guess what? She had NO PROBLEM WITH MY ACCENT!!! She even offered me a booking number!! How's that! I do hope the guy gets caught. WHAT A DAMN SHAME Co operative taxis. Who ever owns this company should take a pipe down and pay attention to some of the conversations taking place!!! To the guy who had rude manners I HOPE YOU ARE CAUGHT YOU PRICK!!
Group of 7 Picked up from airport Thursday by Friendly driver and by chance had the same driver collect us 2 days later. Beautiful clean van and safe ride. Thank you 240 for great service.
