This service is based on "GUESSTIMATES" (not really a "science")...... whats more, the nurse would give me a bit more than was even prescribed by the doc every single time, saying there was some left over in the injection vile and she had to make up for that!! Terrible, much better off without taylor centre...

I don't recommend this place to anyone else. Because the staff there never never listen to you. They forced you to do something. Don't respect to you at all. This kind of doctor, to be honestly, is very rude to the people. They give me the medication made you dizzy and lose your consciousness, and this situation happens for years, make me can't go to normal life. How come they will still be there...

The day after Charlotte Dawson's suicide, I made a suicide threat. Police took me to Central where Taylor Centre staff turned up...after about two hours. They assessed the situation and referred me to a Dealing With Distress course. I can state categorically that the only good thing about the course were the chocolate biscuits during the coffee break. Ring up the Taylor Centre and you may as well be ringing Dial-A-Timewaster

I'm pleased to read that my friend and I are not the only ones who were treated like complet basket cases. If you're looking for a quick and cheap diagnosis of "definately psychotic", you won't find one any faster. If you like your therapeutic environment with air con, nylon carpet and stuck up middle class women with a low opinion of everyone on the other side of the desk, you're going to love it here. If you want a report written about you that goes into the most inane details of your life, they'll write one while you wait.... . and if you're dying to file a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner and receive a descent payout for a breech of privacy by accessing your medical records without your consent, they'll do that gratis The Taylor Centre, you think you're cray now, just wait and see what they can do for you

Staff are helpful and great, but parking can be rather tricky.

I love it! They nursed me back to health for free! And I was badly gone when I came to them: psychotic depression, no less! With suicidal idealisations! But they were not put off and got to work straight away, getting me to do normal things, like catch the bus, even if I was in danger of missing it or getting off at the wrong stop, cooking, even if I couldn't get all the ingredients and might make mistakes during the cooking steps. And now, I feel like a normal person. No longer overdeveloped in some areas and underdeveloped in others, but more even. I can now do some practical things, not just theoretical. It's fantastic to just be a normal, functioning member of human society, complete with all my weaknesses and deficiencies, but we all bear with each other and put up with each other's shortcomings to the end that it gives each of us a chance to take a breather and think a bit more about what we are doing so that we can get better.:)
