I was disappointed by my visit to Art of Nails Ponsonby on Sunday. Despite booking a week in advance, myself and my friend were waiting for 30 minutes before we were seen and no explanation or apology was offered. There seemed to be little to no communication between the staff members as they didn’t know what we were actually wanting and were needed to be reminded by us a couple of times. I have to say I am disappointed in the final product of my dipping powder manicure also as there are some spots where the top coat missed and it is rough and some gaps near the cuticle that make it look a little uneven. Most likely will not be returning.

As usual beautiful job! My hands and nails always look fab after. I was a bit grumpy on arrival... nothing to with AoN... but my nail technician quickly relaxed me and I left feeling great! Thank you :)

Nice place but a bit cold when I visited. Maybe would be nice to have a heat pump. Excellent service

The ladies here are polite and friendly. They can do basic manicure and pedicure well but if you want design nails, i wouldnt recommend it here. Theres often a little wait even though youv made the appointment as they only have a few staff. I do love the modern fit out compared to the other nail salons

Now I’m not really someone to write complaints on business’ but this one really didn’t sit well with me, my friend I booked in for a manicure and her a mani pedi for Sunday at 3pm. We booked this a week in advance and yet when we turned up our appointment didn’t start till 30mins after the appointment time, then when we were ushered through they had no communication on what we were after for our appointments even though we had listed what we wanted in our booking, furthermore I am extremely unhappy with how my nails have been done, no top coat was applied to them so absolutely no shine, there are thumb prints on my thumb nail from where she was testing if my SNS was dry yet, along with buffing out some imperfections after she had finished leaving them very rough! For 75 I am extremely unhappy with how they turned out and most likely won’t be returning again! Save your money and go elsewhere I think!

Lovely staff and thanks relaxing environment but after 1 week of getting gel nails the ends are chipping off already. The lady who did my nails kept taking my hand out of the led early so maybe that was the cause? For the price I paid I won't be going back to any of the Art of Nails. Sad...
