Wonderful, professional people doing their work with total application. Essential part of the Auckland community.
Every single staff member, from the admin to nursing to GP, are very helpful, polite & extremely compassionate in looking after my wife and myself. Kudos and our deepest gratitude to all of them for making the Calder Medical Centre a wonderful experience for all of us who require healthcare.
I wouldn't recommend them as the doctors are not available most of the time and you will have to settle with an appointment with a nurse. The doctors appointment takes longer than 10 days, and they seem to be visitors. Even for kids they would suggest to buy from the medical store and do not prefer to prescribe a medicine which they should be doing. (Not always, but yes they show uncomfortess to prescribe). The area is most often occupied by homeless sleeping in the sofa sets. I would definitely not recommend and was wondering if the rating is given by themselves!!!
Has moved to 34 union st opening at 8.30..and if you arrive early they have special appointments set aside for those who haven't booked..lovely environment friendly staff.. only to happy to oblige..not sure about the parking..will find out when I leave to see if I have a parking ticket..hope not..

Staffed by friendly competent people, this medical centre is the proverbial diamond hidden in the mountain of coal. Located in the heart of the city where people of means are loathed to tread, it services the clients those same people of means would rather avoid. The thing is, once inside their doors, I was pleasantly taken aback by the professionalism and respect manifest in all who worked there. The Calder Centre completely exceeded my expectations and provided medical service comparable to, or surpassing the "care" I have endured in well funded "for profit" private medical facilities in America.
affordable charges to poor people the clinic is located in the heart of the city. although outside atmosphere is a little unpleasant. Once you entered there, staff members working there always be smiling and ready to help. G.P Dr Richard. D.A. is no doublt very professional and has a big sympathy to people who need help. thx!
