I was shocked at the customer service of a staff member. She printed an edible image for me charging 25 with a line across it. And the image quality and colour was not the same as the picture that I had emailed to them. When I asked she said that that’s how all their edible images turn out because their printer doesn’t work right. When asked why she didn’t tell me beforehand she had no response. And when I asked to reprint it she said she wouldn’t unless I gave her another 25 to print it. Will never come back here again and if I knew about this I wouldn’t have bothered in the first place. I usually go to Celebration Cakes where the service is a lot better. Unfortunately they were closed. Thank you Paul. It wouldn’t let me reply to your message for some reason. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to me. It was more her manner & refusing to listen & demanding another 25 for a reprint of an image that wasn’t printed correctly in the first place (I had asked for a full A4, the image was small) & I expressed that it had smudged cause of paint on the side of it since it wasn’t dried properly & the issue of the line of course. I have worked for 5 years in the hospitality industry years ago & I just know that I would treat a customer differently. I had initially written her name here but then deleted it. I am happy to speak on the phone & can pass on my details through my gmail. I am also happy to return the image in exchange for the 25 as I will not be using it anyway. Thank you.

Love visiting the cheesecake shop anytime there is a cake, or dessert that needs to be bought for a special occasion. The staff are always patient and friendly, ready to answer any questions or queries you may have. What I absolutely love is that each visit to the shop, the display cakes (not the standard ones) are absolutely gorgeous along with the cupcakes and mini celebration cakes!! I think the price is good considering that the cake itself is delicious and moist along with the beautiful visual that their cakes have. Oh and also that the cakes have a relatively long shelf life, so even days after the cake still tastes yum. Included below are some of my favorite display cakes I've seen after numerous visits.

Ordered a cake for a special birthday, only to find out that they didn't make it at all. All I got was "sorry". We raced through traffic to try and get there on time. Its a good thing I called to check... Only to let them know that I will be there on time. Very unprofessional.

Excellent customer service... Thank you Christina. Such a wonderful display of cakes, cheesecakes, cake pops. Beautiful selection and friendly service makes this shop stand out from the others. This is definitely our go to place for beautifully made cakes.... From your black forest to your Apple crumble, mango, passion fruit cheesecakes. Mmmmm definitely something for everyone.

Picked up my partners birthday cake today in Manukau. Lovely service from the girls there closing up. Got the BELGIAN DOUBLE CHOC MUDCAKE. Very delicious !!

Do not order any custom cakes from this place. I ordered a (Disney ) Zombies cake from here. I placed it flat and securely in my car. I then drove very carefully, to the 5th brithday party. When I had arrived, the cake had gone all gone to one side, hence destroying the cake. On site we had 2 professional cake makers, who inspected the cake. And they determined that....the fondant was hard/set...the actual was still warm...and they did not structurally securely the cake tiers properly, with the right support. We emailed The Cheesecake Shop Manukau, explaining all this. And they tried blaming it on my driving abilities (I must of gotten into an accident, thats why it happened). And then on the ganache in-between the tiers. They gave me a partial refund, after they called me 4 days later. THANKS THE CHEESECAKE SHOP MANUKAU for ruining my baby's 5th Birthday

Really poor service at the Cheesecake Shop Manukau have been calling in for the past 2 days to organise edible printing for Cupcakes on the 2nd day payed over the phone and was told to come around 5ish I came on time and it's not ready! Waiting over 25 minutes and had groceries and frozen good melting in my car I thought it would just be a quick pick up only but I guess not! They kept saying 5 minutes each time I asked is it done so annoyed!!!!! would NOT recommend The Cheesecake Shop
