Not sure if they are fully functioning now. Went there yesterday in hope of a good dinner and beers and were told that there's only snacks menu available, quite a limited one at that. It was 5:30pm but the kitchen was obviously not working. There were just a couple of gents sitting at the bar and drinking beer, overall the place looked abandoned. Sad as I was really after this place, following all the good reviews and pictures...

Great little Irish Pub tucked away down a side alley in Newmarket. It was the perfect stop for a restful lunch and drink after shopping up a storm at the Newmarket mall. Great, friendly service. Meals were fantastic and reasonably priced. We enjoyed steak and the special of the day Beef Thai Salad. Will definitely stop in again!
The best, most unpretentious bar in the area. Everywhere else goes the gastropub route or is full of yuppys
Good quiz night and variety if beers including Nz craft and Irish.
Beautiful old fashioned Irish pub nestled in an alley basically. Even better for a few tables outback with big brollies to get shade, but inside has that rustic pub feel with comfy chairs to seats at the bar. Food was delicious too from clam chowder to meats.

They brew their own beer on premise. The playlist is superb. Good place to catch up with friends.
