Our meals were both so so yummy and their presentation too! The restaurant was impeccably clean & comfortable. Music & decor very interesting. Their service and the cooking was very very good indeed. No problems with parking and the traffic noise was not noticeable outside then. We recommend this restaurant!! Tim and Lynda N.

After our first takeaway night, we were eager to come back and dine in and it was totally worth it. Super friendly waiters and people behind the counter. Amazing curries with plenty of meat and then there's an entree platter that gets you a little bit of everything to start which was good. They'll have Indian music videos on the big TV which is something different to watch.

So first let me say as a Brit and used to the best Bangladeshi Chefs in the world, I am hard to please! This restaurant has been here for a long time now in different forms and management. Its present form is pretty good by NZ standards. I ordered a hot Chicken Methi. That was a real nice dining experience for the price, no doubt about that at all. The chicken was a bit crunchy in places but mostly succulent and the flavours brilliant. Service was quick considering the amount of take-aways being done. Like all restaurants in NZ they give you a free poppadum when you go in. Like all NZ Indian restaurants they don't give you a dip or chutney with it which makes it very dry and a pointless exercise. For the price and for Birkenhead, it's one of the better ones by a wide margin.

Rohit and his team produce the tastiest curries around , we are regular customers and every time a great meal is delivered with a wonderful smile. Make sure you try the cheese nan , its the best i have ever had , highly recommend this place.

Booked my family in for dinner as it was Mum's birthday. The food was excellent and mum even got a free dessert on her birthday. The waiter did bill us incorrectly, however it was quickly corrected and the duty manager apologised for the mistake. Even so, I would defintely recommend this restaurant and go again. Value for money and great tasting Indian food :)

Our local favorite. Recommend the cheese and onion kulcha, chicken tikka masala and palak paneer. The curries are authentic and taste natural, not overly rich or sweet. Welcoming atmosphere and service with a smile.
