But, until now, there has been no real way to connect directly with businesses who may need their services (unless you have a million hours up your sleeve for marketing). And for companies who would just love to hire someone for an hour a week, or for a one-off project, the process of doing that can be too time-consuming, and often comes with the added cost of a 'middle-person'​. So that is where The Freelance Village comes in. Created by freelancers, with the aim of making communication and connection between those who 'need'​ and 'do'​ much more simple.
