Celebrated my 60th Birthday there last night 17/03/2021. Had the best service from the catering planning prior to the date to the evening it's self. The staff were amazing and food very well presented and tasty. All my guests were happy. I recommend this establishment for your next function. As the old saying goes..I will be back...

Very fine cooked food. Very juicy beef, duck and salmon with crispy outside. And the sauce are wonderful and unique. But need to wait quite a long while so the restaurant served a big bowl of chips for apology. Service and environment are good. Will come again.
Good service and good food. Portions a bit large for me. You would need to be careful unless you were a person of large appetite. Fries were particularly good but sadly I only managed about a third of the bowl. Overall good value, ambience congenial but not quiet with so many happy patrons. It is after all a bar too.
We had dinner at the Good Home in Howick on Monday night. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. We enjoyed every piece of it.
Stopped by for lunch and was greeted at the door. After getting seated we were given menus and sufficient time to look over the menus and order. The iced chocolate was ok. it took about 30 minutes to get four mains out. The pulled pork and beef burger was quite nice although I was expecting a bit more sauce with the pulled pork. The fries were mixed, on the same plate, some were nice and crispy while other were just soggy. The service was really good and the room was quite comfortable even though it was a hot day.
Delicious dinner, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, good DJ ... we are happy with our choice for New Year Eve party. Otherwise, we spent around 150 for x2 of us for food, dessert and drinks ; which was less than expected, good value for money
Really enjoyed the beef and guiness pie with mash and vegetables.
Awesome place for a friday afternoon drink, a little pricey but a good pint
