Had a miscommunication on the usability of their membership due to ambiguous wording on their website, then management refuse to refund completely unused membership. They showed zero compassion for very broadly worded deal of '12 tickets to all screening' 'save 3 per ticket'. Very sad at how they handled it. Keep the 30, it's a donation now as I won't attend or further support any venue with so little empathy and such terrible customer service.

The ticketing process isn't terribly clear if you've purchased online. Queued at the counter for 5 mins before getting told we didn't have to. Not being allowed to bring your own snacks or drinks into the theatre seems a bit mean spirited, especially being told to throw out my bottle of water. But I guess they want to sell you there stuff at inflated prices. It's the one really sour note in what is otherwise a great place. The theatre itself is great, many original features. Visual and audio is pretty good, and it's fun watching all the old trailers while waiting for the main feature.

Cinema how it should be. Real - nostalgic - filled with character. That's what the Hollywood gives you every time you go. A real cinema experience. Up or down you choose your viewing platform - friendly as management - people who care about movies. a retro viewing pleasure

It was amazing loved it so much, love the old architecture loved the atmosphere, the staff were amazing ill definitely be returning, thanks Hollywood Cenima and Haunted Auckland for the experience

Used to go here a lot in the 80s, they used to play the Rocky Horror Picture Show every Friday and Saturday night, lots people used to be regulars and dress up. Last time I was here a few years ago with the kids and didn't like the old school style but I still enjoyed it.
