This is an iconic establishment that has been around for 30 years plus. I went to this fish a d chop shop when I was in primary school and it's still there today. If that doesn't tell you it's a great place after all of this time I'm not sure what will.

The juicy oyster is a terrific fish and chip shop. The owners Ivan and Dennis are old school, from Dalmatia they know how to cook a great feed of fish and chips. Magnificently Crunchy battered fish and firm golden chips with a great kiwis style burger on offer Great value for money they have a 5 special (2x fish, and 2x sausages and chips all for 5.00. Thats simply ridiculous value- one piece of Fish is 5 bucks at most other chippies.(And the fish is Tarakihi not shark) I cant recommend this great little diamond of fish shop enough.
