Lovely spot not far from busy Auckland

We come here often for a swim at the beach. It's a lovely beach with a playground close by for the little ones. Cafe's across the street for a coffee or a feed are great and some weekends there's a market on. The fountain is beautiful when it's on. Unfortunately it's not on at the moment with water shortages but that's neither here nor there. Try it out for yourself. It can get crowded though so be prepared.

Beautiful place for a family day out with the kids, or to get some fresh air. Lots of eateries along the strip across the road however a little on the expensive side(1 Fish & Small Chips was 10) there's also a children playground and a kite stand close by. Parking is available but fills quickly.

Busy coastal destination near city shared cycle/walk path and some nice eateries.

High or low tide you have plenty to explore. I admire the beauty of mission bay, the community is very friendly love the changing colors of the water fountain. Love long walks along the beach, kids playground what else? Everything appalling. Five stars.
