Wow. I just popped in for some takeaway chips today. One staff member waiting tables & serving behind bar (it's only a small restaurant) & how good was he? Talk about on point, laid back, EXCELLENT service. Made me feel so welcome even though my order was small. As for the chips - bloody lovely & a decent portion too. Keep that wonderful vibe going guys & girls. Love it. I'll be back.

Stopped in for a wine only on route to Waiheke on the ferry. I can't comment on the food as we didn't have any. I bought x2 glasses of Pinot noir for 36. I know that we need to support local economy and I am willing to do that, but 18 a std glass of wine which to be honest tasted so bad I couldn't drink it. I would normally take time to discuss this with the manager but we were running short of time and couldn't do that. I felt ripped off! I won't be going back.

Well this wee gem was a great stop. Location for the ferry and good tasty nibbles.

Super friendly staff and amazing food. I had the bluff oysters and they tasted delicious with the home made sauce and lemon. The beer is more or less mediocre. I tried a couple of drafts from New Zealand, but I guess they are not very good at making beer in general. But to be honest-this is some cultural stuff which you have to get into (and beer should not taste the same in every place, right?)
