As a plumber coming from abroad with not much New Zealand plumbing experience . Trade Lab has been very instrumental in bringing clarity to what is expected both in the plumbing industry and the exam. After the success of my exam. This gave many procrastinating locals plumbers courage to also try out trad lab and take the exam with the same success.

I was put onto trade lab by a friend who shared the same problems as me. Neither of us had sat an exam in years & needed to study & refresh before the certifying drainage exam, we were both busy at work & at home with a young families. Being able to log in & cover off a couple of topics each night made study very easy. I found the delivery suited me as it limited the amount of reading I needed to do after a busy day. It wasn't until I sat the exam (& passed convincingly) that I realized just how relevant the study material had been. I recalled many of the questions being covered throughout the trade lab course. I would recommend these courses to all new & old preparing for an exam or as a very easy way to refresh your trade theory. Mark.
Very happy with the registered plumber refresher course. I have never been a theory person and still continue to have huge difficulties in class/exam situations. Signing up to the course was the best investment I have ever made for myself. The content is up to date and I don’t have to waste time searching old books for irrelevant information. It’s all at my own pace and I can refer back to any of the quizzes and modules which is awesome as sometimes the info doesn’t stick the first time I go through it. I am definitely feeling a lot more confident leading up to the exam.
Very well put together courses to help you prepare for whatever exam you are taking. I purchased the tradesman gas fitter course & it really helped me understand what to expect in the exam as well as prepare on topics I struggled with. Highly recommend Trade Lab - great to have a company who have created well put together course to help get us through these exams.

As a newcomer to New Zealand I struggled to understand how 3500 and the building code is applied. Trade Lab lays it out in an easy to use platform with the correct guidance on the relevant details to prepare one to sit the exams. Tutors are available to answer questions. My success in the Certifying Plumber exam is something I am very proud of. I'll use the services of Trade Lab again when preparing for the Certifying Drainlayer exams. I recently completed the Certifying gas fitter online course. The course is extremely in depth, focusing on the all the necessary parts of the exam, detailed process for pipe sizing, clear definitions and explanation of things I hadn't even come across yet. All their information is up to. date and updated regularly and they are happy to help with any questions (I had heaps) in the weeks leading up to the exam. I passed with 88 percent which I was absolutely stoaked with. Since then i have started my own plumbing and gas company. I highly recommend this online course its easily done at home and in your own time. Thanks
Nik and the team at Trade Lab are amazing ! . I was a little anxious when sitting my certifying exams . However , once i worked through the material set out by Trade Lab on a week by week basis, the information just seemed to stick and was all relevant when it came time for the exam. Thanks to the bit by bit study guide, I was able to pass with ease and exceeded my expectation of what I thought I could achieve .
