I know you can't expect much from an airport exchange but to take 1/7 of the money I exchanged is very steep, and also no rates on the board. Wouldn't be sad if the shop burnt down

Very disappointing service by the person(Dong) at currency exchange place at the Auckland Domestic terminal. I gave him all our leftover cash and coins to exchange them to NZD. He straight away told me off with a very bad attitude "No Coins, No Coins". If he doesn't take coins, he could have told me politely. Looks like he doesn't enjoy this job. He should find a different job as he clearly doesn't belong in customer service. Not sure if this is genuine or not, They have a till at the counter for charity full of coins. When the guy says " no coins", people put their leftover coins in that box.(Different currencies). Not sure who's exchanging them. Very disappointed. I hope you will take appropriate actions.

I was picking up a group of very important business clients from Auckland airport after they arrive from Sydney, and waiting in queue to pick up a rental car for them. Got a new SIM card for the CEO of a big organisation, needed a pin to remove the SIM card slot from his phone. Travelex was just behind the Eurocar rental counter, we went to ask the Asia-looking guy for a stapler, he got the stapler out and was trying to remove one, meanwhile he was reluctant and asked us to try the Vodafone shop which is a bit of distance to walk and we needed to be around the queue to sign some document while my partner was waiting in queue to pick up the rental car. I said to this guy at Travelex no Vodafone shop was too far away and a little stapler would be helpful, To my surprise, he was so arrogant and holding the stapler (a stapler pin that is less then a cent ) in his hand and asked me”there is Vodafone shop you can go there, why should I give it (the stapler)to you? “ and he didn’t help! I went to next Budget car rental counter and the lady gave us a stapler to help out. The Travelex guy doesn’t understand as a person he could be selfish and rude as he is, however when he is working at the international airport sits he is representing New Zealand customer service, I feel deeply ashamed for him representing New Zealanders to service International Customers, this is the worst attitude that one could have and it is insulting by holding the stapler that could help customers and not to provide help but to question “why should I help you?” I have always been proud that New Zealanders are the most friendly people and our customer service is top in the world. Just NOT from Travelex at Auckland international airport!!! (Opposite Europcar rental counter)
