We were using Twigleys for around 4 years - they say their point of difference is "being competitive in pricing while offering excellent advice and customer care". Sadly in the last 3 years we found this couldn't be more wrong. First year was fine then it all deteriorated .... last financial year we were charged over 185/hour for even simple admin and reconciliation work. Sadly there is no longer a book keeper/office junior at reasonable hourly rates -its all at full partners rates. And despite the website saying simple queries would be answered for free this wasnt what we experienced. We felt we were paying for premium services yet we got no advice and poor customer care, and not even a printed set of accounts. It was a very unhappy business relationship for us and not resolved well. They made it difficult to leave. I hope Twigleys realise that we all live in a small business community and now-adays poor service and over charging for services gets noticed.
