Our crew are still buzzing after a great afternoon/evening aboard the Ultimate Charter vessel MV Koru. Heaps of fish, laughs and good times. Craig and Mike were very welcoming and ensured we all had a safe and memorable trip. Highly recommended.

We had wonderful experience yesterday with Ultimate Charters Three of us is first time fishing for king fish and we caught 3 big king fish (big smile on our face), very pleased with our trip Special thanks for Magic Mike, he is very passionate, experienced, and professional skipper, he took his time to locate fish for us, and gave us some good advises on how to, as three of us are inexperienced at fishing. His hard working during the day, let us fully focus on getting the fish up, without worrying to much about other things (set up correct rod, line, lure, get the fish off the hook, locate the fish etc.) We would highly recommend Ultimate Charters to anyone who wants to get a big snapper or king fish, We will definitely be booking more from you guys especially Magic Mike Thanks again for Mike’s hard good and Jackie's quick and easy booking service Marx
Jackie and the rest of the team at Ultimate Charters were amazing to deal with from every step of the way, from booking to being out on the water to finalizing payment. Our group had an amazing day out on the water and made special mention to how great the crew were. Would definitely use Ultimate Charters again in the future.
Magic Mike is continues to be an amazing skipper. Very helpful and works hard trying different options to enhance customer fishing experience. Highly recommended.
Had a great time out on the water with family and skipper Mike 26/09/2020! Mike was super helpful & knowledgeable! We did the Offshore charter & wow! What an awesome experience for us all! Chasing work ups, seeing as many dolphins as we did and of course fun catching our fish! We had a couple personal bests with a couple of our snappers! We also hired gear so it was all easy to jump on board and go! We will be back for more trips, the family are still raving!
We had to cancel our tip due to covid, not happy about that. We paid our deposit nearly a year ago and Simon without question refunded the whole amount. If the fishing is a good as Simon's morals...we are in for a treat when we get the chance !
Ultimate Charters are awesome. We went on their larger boat "Koru" this time as we had a larger group. It's massive and probably overkill for the group we had, but would be such a good boat for larger groups. But really the big standout for these guys are the staff. Magic Mike and Matt were awesome on the boat. Jackie was amazing for getting it booked in (she makes a massive difference to the customer service) which makes a massive difference. Nice work folks!
Excellent day out on the water with skipper Craig going all out to find kingies and workups in the Gulf. We went out wide to the northern side of Great Barrier Island with a total trip distance of over 225km for the day. We all got a fair catch of snapper for the day, with some good kingie action along the way. Highly recommended and will be doing it again.
