Great service from the waitresses, friendly and timely with coffee and food orders. Not over bearing like the way other establishments will make you feel rushed. Definitely coming back.

Ordered large takeaway coffees and received regular sized coffees in large cups. In an area where there are numerous cafe options, this is not acceptable and definitely will not be returning. Coffee was also average
Medium size coffee arrived. I thought our order was wrong . Smallest coffee ever . The mocha and flat white were bitter. Plenty of other cafes to choose from in this area and we definitely won't be back !!
Just had breakfast this morning took over an hour. Got my wife's order wrong 3 times so we asked for toast instead. Toast came out on my plate which we didn't realise until afterwards. Still charged for toast and woman at the counter argued with me stating that they didn't stuff up our order. We have been to this cafe multiple times before and have had no problem but we will not be return again.This is the worst customer service i have ever received, I understand mistakes happen but to not take any responsibility and argue with customers is not acceptable.
Very nice food, customer service and environment. Plenty of car park at the back. They also have a lot of choices of breads, cakes or muffins. A lot of different types of drinks too. Good job! We will come back again.
Went in for coffee and cake. Waited around, eventually waitress came and asked and we said we just wanted coffee and cabinet food. She said go grab a table. Waited at the table. Another waitress eventually came over and gave us menus. Told her we just wanted coffee and cake. She said ok and took our order. Couldnt find the cake we wanted on her ordering system, she kept saying sorry. Which cake was it and where it was in the cabinet. Eventually she said ok she found it and we ordered coffee. Sat and waited. Then a guy comes over gives us menus. Tell him we have already ordered. Water glasses bought over. Looked dirty so didnt use them. Cake arrives with no utensils or serviettes. Food and coffee itself was fine. Then waited and lined up to pay. Mobile machine didn't work. Waitress can't find what we ordered just says two coffees right. No we tell her we had cake as well. Then she says mobile machine isnt working as she asks the guy behind us what hes waiting for and he says hes waiting to pay as well. Tells us to see the cashier at the till to pay. Overall we think it would be faster if cabinet food and coffee just was paid for straight away and given a table number on the spot and perhaps waitresses were given assigned areas to look after instead of double ups. Maybe staff need trained on what they stock in the cabinet too. Reply - Thanks for your offer of brunch, which we will decline as we know its a hard time for all businesses at the moment. We hope you invest in the training of your staff and wish you well.
Always enjoyed the food here, had mince on toast with a potato rosti - very filling, didn't quite manage to finish everything. Wife had eggs bene had was also full before finishing but we both enjoyed it. Took away some banana bread for later. Just something to be aware of is it can be a busy place, if you're coming through on a Saturday when the Howick market is on it can be difficult to get a table here sometimes.
This used to be my go to place but unfortunately been disappointed the last few times I've visited. Today I ordered a drink and a corn and bacon muffin, took 20 minutes for cabinet food to arrive and they gave me the wrong item. They took it back and said they would bring out what I ordered. I waited another 30 minutes and never received my muffin. Went to pay and explained I never received what I ordered and didn't get an apology or an offer to take it to go. Hopefully will be back up to the amazing standard they used to be soon!
