Here on Waiheke, the historic Scout hall "The Ship" is right on the water's edge in the beautiful cove of Putiki Bay. Do you like to learn new things, have an adventure, and make new friends? In waiheke Even in winter they organise as many official meetings outdoors as possibly can. Waiheke Sea Scouts has strong bonds with community, to explore the wonderful world of Waiheke's nature, the coast and beyond.
I went here, learnt to sail here, taught sailing here but it needs a new flying fox
An amazing experience for the young ones. Did this for a couple years and still use some of the skills learnt here. Amazing
The hall is a bit run down, but it's a great location for various clubs to get together. The building has a main hall with two smaller rooms for kitchen and office. There is a separate public toilet block outside. Besides the Sea Scouts the hall is also used by the Waiheke Amateur Radio Club.
Beach front and just open, really nice place, and not expensive
Great group that fulfils the message of sea scouts, but would be better if they had access to more money so they could invest in more things to help the usability of the place
