. (12/2017) Beautiful reserve stretched over to Manukau reserve. Well maintained. Guided walking area. Nice views all around. Good for an extended walk on a lazy day. Pity that much of it is now being converted into a dwelling and the end with entrance from Commodore Drive is isolated until the construction is complete. Preferred entrance to the reserve is via end of Royal Viking Way. You may have to stay content with the street parking due to the absence of any dedicated parking area for this big reserve. Wheelchair accessible entrance is available. Seating and benches are provided at regular distances for taking rest and enjoying the views. Public restrooms are available at this location.
