Enjoyed our trip and check in and check out with this company. We did have an accident and broke some plates due to not locking something down which was totally our fault. Thought that we would have a huge problem when we got back but it was no trouble at all as they were not concerned and this was a relief. Very easy to get on with the staff and they were a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely book through this company again.

We were first time campervan users, and Wilderness were absolutely fantastic to deal with - from A to Z. They were helpful, very communicative, friendly - and accommodated all our requests. We'd definitely hire from them again, and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a top shelf campervan experience.

We just finished 11 magical days on a middle loop of the South Island, hitting Arthur's Pass, Hokatika, Franz Josef, Makararoa, Wanaka, Mt. Cook, and Lake Tekapo. I was nervous about driving a larger vehicle over the mountain passes and one-lane bridges (and did, in fact, clip a sideview mirror), but was overall quite impressed with the easy handling of the motorhome, as well as the generous comfort and flexibility it afforded us. Staff were easy and quick to communicate with us before and during our trip, and we felt totally supported with any minor issues along the way. We eagerly look forward to our next journey with Wilderness Motorhomes.
First time hire with Wilderness and they were fantastic to deal with. From the easy to use online booking to the personalised service we received, very impressed! The van we had was comfortable, easy to drive and navigate through the many winding roads we drove and luxurious to live in for 2 weeks. We had a few fellow camper van enthusiasts look through on our travels who were keen to hire a wilderness camper van next time. Will hire again, in fact, about to re-book one now
A great experience from being picked up at Christchurch airport to returning Motorhome to Wilderness. After hiring Motorhomes in the past would highly recommend Wildnerness for quality, value, and experience.

Our first campervan experience and it has left us wanting more. Beautiful vehicle. Easy to drive, economical and a pleasure to be in. Fantastic staff on pick up and drop off. Showed us everything thoroughly. The beds were so comfortable and loved never having to take anything apart to build a bed at night! Highly recommend.
