Finally, a Greek place that's close to me and really delicious if I do say so myself. Wasn't a fan of the Baba ganoush though :o( it wasn't as smoky as I like it. Despite this I will most definitely be going back here to satisfy my Greek food cravings! I think I ordered the alpha plate with lamb and I would certainly order it again. Looking forward to going here again to hopefully sit at the dining table.

Best place to eat in new market. The portion size is huge and hospitality is amazing. Ambiance is amazing worthy a picture reminds you Greece.

The restaurant is part of the food court on level three of the 277 side of the Westfield Newmarket mall. We stopped by for a late lunch and I went with the alpha plate with the lamb shoulder. It was nice how you could pick a salad and they did have quite a few options. After ordering, just pick up your order by the donkey and find a place to sit in the food court. The portion was quite big, being a large chunk of lamb on the bone. The lamb was quite tender but it was a bit dry in places. I found their tzatziki a bit on the sour side and their hummus was ok. I quite liked the chef salad with the fried pita folded into it. The meal was decently sized so it is understandable why it was priced like that. We also tried their baklava which was ok and a bit on the cinnamony side.

One of the best place to eat in New Market. We been here 7-8 times and every time their taste is awesome what ever you try. Our favourite is Hera, Slow cooked Lamb, Spartan Burger and salads. Highly recommended

Mediocre as hell. I’ve tried it twice. Chicken wrap was so bland and dry. The chicken tastes of nothing. In desperate need of a sauce. Go to Christchurch and get a souvlaki from Dimitri’s and then tell me this place is worthy of your patronage.

Probably the most authentic middle eastern restaurant in New Zealand. Delicious food, wonderful presentation and great service. Top of my go to list. Highly recommend.
