Amazing visit
Nice view to stop and see the hydro station and its blue water so amazing
Much quieter than waitaki power station. And the control room is nice with the air con on
Very interesting and pretty. The power of the water is amazing
Not as big or exciting to look at as Benmore dam up the valley is. But it is still an impressive structure and when the spillways are in use you can see the power of the water normally kept behind the dam and normally only allowed out via the penstocks and turbines.
Awesome views and a great still lake to fish, swim, ski, jet boat or jet ski on.
Really cool power station. The architecture is great!
