Great bar with plenty of Monteith's on tap, ranging from lagers to craft beers. There is an outdoor area which is nice to sit in as it tends to be quiet. Reasonably priced and one of the only pubs in the immediate area so tends to be a local for many people.

Only one meal on the menu was vegetarian, and that a salad. On asking we were offered three additional options, generally a meat dish less the meat. For 2021 this is very disappointing. However, the meals we took were nice and generously sized.

Our very first meal in New Zealand! And it was definitely a good idea to go there. I ordered West Coast BBQ ribs and it was sooooo soooo delicious!! A great place with nice ambient and good beer too. Service is really friendly. Recommend!

Called in for casual lunch, excellent reception and service, with great meals. Steak and chicken meals ordered, both excellent.

Great food. Sunday roast for 15 was tasty and great size. Drinks weren't served to each person and expected to pass down table. Wasn't busy and could move down side of table so seemed lazy. Had to ask for order to be taken as waited so long. First time service not so good. Would have been 5/5 if service was better. Clean toilets. Bar and know there are quiz nights and wine tastings.
