We spent the day with Steven and Robyn making our knives and had a great time. They have created an excellent balance between allowing you to do the job yourself and giving help required to make sure you get an end product that you will love and cherish. Two very down to earth people providing a great experience, highly recommended.

A fantastic day spent making my knife. I was a bit apprehensive before i went thinking if i would be able to do this using machinery etc. Steve and Robyn were the best hosts. Nothing a problem. Enjoyed the axe throwing, quoits, great toasted sandwiches for lunch and refreshments after 4pm. Hospitality and the days activity there's not enough stars to give. Proud to take my finished knife home to show family and friends.

Well, where can I start. Warm welcome coming in. Great joker as in I loved his dark humor, brilliant. His expertise on knife making is amazing(I'd call him a Blacksmith). Refreshments for lunch, good ol toasted sandwich with condiment pre-sliced by his lovely wife, coffee tea also. After your knife is finished, polished and sharpened (last step done by Blacksmith Steven) it's drink O'clock Again thanks Steven for a wonderful time, from the Local Kiwi Alexander and my German Fiancé Laura who also thought your German was impeccable

Had a great time making our knives with Steven and Robyn! They managed to take a day-long, intricate and repetitive process, and give it soul. They are both highly knowledgeable about knife making and just in general, leading to interesting conversations while we worked on our knives. Highly recommended workshop and experience!
