Crystal clear water. Everything you could want here for a family day. Airstream Cafe, fishing, canoes available, 5.5km walk around the lake, and swimming. Take your jet ski, boat, and paddle board. PS, don't forget your sunnies, sunscreen, and camera.

Easy walk with good views also nice walks through forest. Mid way there is views of two lakes. Good parking and toilet facilities.
BREATHTAKING Lake..!! You HAVE to do the circumference [bush] walk around the lake and pristine wildlife..it is SOOO peaceful and a wonderful sight to take in. The lake is BLUE(!) and very calming!
So serene, green, clean, and peaceful. Had everything one would want to do at a lake.
Magnificent spot to visit. 6.4km (approx) round trip. If starting from near Blue Lake Top 10 Holiday Park you can choose the walking track or head back up further to access Tangaroamihi biking trail
Beautiful lake. The walking loop is really peaceful and well worth taking. Take water as there isn't any taps along the way.
Beautiful view. The blue color is best when the sun is out. There is a nice walk around the lake which takes about 1h (different starting points), but the view is right next to the parking lot. If you want to go for a swim, it's about a 5 minute walk downhill from the viewing point.
