I've stayed here twice now and am looking forward to a third time. It is by a long shot my favourite place to stay in New Zealand. The scenery is amazing... At the foothills of mountains where the skies and views are massive with the most amazing stars you'll see. I've stayed in the cottage and the sleep out and both are great. The cottage has everything you need. I'd happily stay there for weeks on end. If I was a writer I think this woild be my dream place to write. And onto the hosts Amy and Jason. So friendly and helpful and fun and engaging and enthusiastic about the local area. We loved our drinks in the man cave with them taking music and all sorts. If you've got as far as finding the place then book it up right away. You won't regret it at all.

The best airbnb so far! Will return one day for longer stay. Perfect spot for families with children and the dark sky allows you to see plenty of stars!

An Airbnb that is away from the town and is really quiet if that’s what you want. Just below the mountain and it’s definitely a great place to see the stars at night although it depends on the weather. Hosts were really friendly and the whole apartment is classy and comfortable!
