I ordered by phone from Waiheke Island 1 metre of AT2214 aluminium tubing, and it arrived the very next day. The Metal Company is in Blenheim, in the South Island, 800km away, so that is incredible. The person I dealt with was very friendly and efficient. And attached to the very well-packaged consignment was a Freddo bar. I have known things to take two weeks to get the short distance from Auckland to Waiheke, and no Freddo, just sour-faced grumpiness from people who had repeatedly failed to deliver. The Metal Company obviously knows what 'good service' means. They give it.
