There are signs to the falls from the main highway so you just need to follow them to get here. The parking area is quite large but it did fill up when we were leaving. After heading down the walkway with the entrance sign there are public toilets available. After an easy walk through the bush you get to the top observation deck, just follow the signs when you get to the T junction. This area is right beside the top of the falls. It has a nice view of the area as well as the viewing platform down below. If you head the other direction, you get to three other observation areas at varying levels of the waterfall. The top two have views of the waterfall from the side while the final one is at the bottom of the falls. There are a lot of stairs from the top observation deck to the bottom of the falls. There are information placards along the sides of the walk. the bottom area is quite nice. There is a seating area where you can look directly up at the falls or a side area with cover. It was nice to just sit and enjoy the view of the falls and the surrounding forest. The walk to the top of the falls was really easy. It did get a bit harder going up and down the stairs but most people were able to do it. It was a nice place for a visit.

Awesome place to visit. GPS would show "reached" well before the location. Keep driving like 1km down and you will see the signs to the parking.

Simply amazing!! What a delight to witness God's natural work of art. There's an approximately 138-step flight of stairs down to the bottom to enjoy the view and up to return to the top or your vehicle. So those with physical issues should just enjoy the view from the top.

Very impressive waterfall that is well worth the steps all the way to the bottom! I like that this is suitable for all fitness levels, as you are able to just decide for yourself if you want to stay at the top, go halfway or all the way down. Definitely worth the drive out, I‘d say you‘ll need at least 20 minutes for the whole climb down and back up.

Super beautiful waterfal and very accessible. Car parking fills up reasonably quickly but when we went people were constantly coming and going which frees up spaces. There are three viewing platforms, plus the view at the bottom. The wall down to the bottom is all steps down; I reccomend wearing walking shoes. The walk to the bottom is short but rewarding. Nice easy walk that is a must do if you are in the area.

Great short walk. 5-10 minutes to top lookout and another 10 - 15 to the base. Well formed track and stairs. One of the better waterfalls in the North Island! Oh and BTW, there are lots of eels in the river at the bottom. No swimming allowed.

Stunning waterfalls! Short walk to the top and then you can climb down all the way to the viewing deck. It's a moderate climb back, not too hard. Worth it though.

I didn't have high expectations about the Bridal Veil Falls but it literally blew me out of the water! When the local Maori Iwi (tribe) thinks it is sacred, you already have an inkling of its cultural significance, that it must be special. I have seen a lot of waterfalls but this is memorable and the best one I have seen in the North Island. It is very family friendly and you don't have to hike for hours to see it. What makes it special is that you can see it from different angles and levels of platforms from up top or down below. Watching the water flowing down is mesmerizing that you are transfixed by the beauty of the place.
