We unexpectedly needed a cattery for 2 cats, 2 days before the Easter holidays, for a 7 day stay! Our regular loved and trusted cattery has closed down. Cambridge Vets recommended Matt. I found Matt to be very accommodating with our cats. They were put in a private suite as one needed special care. Matt was happy to administer medication and feed our cats their special diet food. Thrilled with the care and attention my cats got and the willingness of Matt to help out at such short notice over a long busy weekend. We have booked the cats for a second stay later in the year. I worry far too much about our cat Zuma, and so feel incredibly lucky that Matt at Cambridge Cattery is there to look after her when we are on holiday. His personalised care for all the visiting cats is immediately obvious. He knows what each one needs and likes. We drive an hour each way to make sure Zuma will be looked after like she is at home.
A safe and welcoming place for cats. Matt is very passionate and knowledgable about his guests - we have used Cambridge Cattery a few times and without hesitation would highly recommend. Keep up the good work !
I decided to collect my cat 3 minutes early and was happy to wait in the car, only to be told by Matt (the owner) that I was way too early and that he'd only be able to serve me in 10 minutes. He was clearly disorganized and running around doing chores that should probably have been done earlier. Anyway, when he finally opened his door he was so rude and dismissive, bad mouthing other customers who dared to pick their cats up outside of office hours. I will never use Cambridge Cattery again!
We hadn't used a cattery before, however did on this occasion to ensure we had piece of mind that they were safe. We had three in a private unit. We most certainly recommend this facility. It was clean and well maintained, good protocols observed, animals well care for and the owner takes a real interest in each animal. A very personal service. We were very impressed.
Great pricing and great venue. Loved that all three of our cats got to be in one unit. Excellent customer service. Izzy, Spike and Tilly were so well looked after. Highly recommended.
If you love your cat and want someone who will look after your cat just as good as you or better. This is the place for you. Mat is so passionate about his job and the cats, he takes top care when looking after your cat. He takes the time to take photos and lets you know what your cat been up too when picking them up. Molly loves her stays there.
We recently had to travel overseas and this necessitated some urgent readjustments regarding our cat’s long term accommodation. Matt obliged at every turn and cared for our cat like one of his own. Greatly appreciated.
