Quirky and quaint. A great atmosphere in a small theatre where it's intimacy is part of its charm. Loved it.

We visited the Cambridge Repertory Society (aka The Gaslight Theatre) to see a dinner performance of "12 Angry Men". The theatre is down the end of a quiet street, in an interesting remodelled historic building. The staff welcomed us at the door, pointed out the facilities, and showed us to our seats. It is a very cosy setting, with three small tiers of seating areas. The dinner (catered by a local café) was fine, and the show was outstanding. We would definitely go back.
Excellent night out very good acts
The Gaslight Theatre is the most amazing place ever, From Its Start That I can remember I Did My First Production Down There In About 1990 And I Think It Was The Second Year, The building itself was the size off the old original building you can clearly tell its extensions at both ends.... The Theatre Literally Grew Through The community support and Everyone from lighting technicians to costume designers To The Front Off House... Donations And Many Many Peoples Donated Dedicated Loyal Supporters Actors And Everything Directors Professional Play writers And The Actors All Help to Turn the Gaslight Into The Busy Bustling Place Around. Which Finally Enabled The Theatre To Grow Into The Community Supported Theatre Its Become.....Makes Me So Proud To See the Changes And Growth Off The Building EG, The Much Needed Extension With Changing Rooms Upstairs. I Remember Coming From Outside To Go Onto Stage..........A Stunning Inside And Out With Quality Performances Unforgettable Experience To Be Had Book There Next Pla Know You Wont Regret It......
