Lovely place. Did the 3 hour round trip walk. Mostly flat and not too tiring. Track is closed if the weather turns bad. Beautiful view of Mt Cook with icebergs in the lake

Beautiful, even quieter and felt more peaceful with the rain--less people.

Nice walk on a lovely clear sky day. The best views were seen from the path as you walked towards Mt Cook as the final destination was a bit lackluster, just a dirty lake with a couple tiny ice bergs. Still, would recommend :)

Very cool walk and the mountains were fully visible, bonus!

New Zealand is an extraordinary country full of beauty. But Mount Cook specifically; that place is just next maximum level.

Stunning 360• views all around. Perfect for a winter or summer adventure holiday. Many great hotels/motels in the area. Heaps of short and long walks. Would recommend.

The hooker Valley track was a decently long track, but the reward at the end was well worth it. Allow 3 to 3.5 hours return including photo stops. Also try to plan to get to the end at least 2 hours before sunset as the sun sets over the mountains quite a bit before the actual sunset, it will help with your pictures! Best to do the trek in the morning though as the sun will be in the best place for pictures with mount cook in the background.

Beautiful scenery. Aoraki can be shy so don't expect a clear view of the mountain.
