Ordered items for collection and didn't hear from them for 6 days until I contacted them. They were immediately on to it, had everything ready and threw in a set of knives for the delay so great outcome in the end.
Simer in the IT department was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable and refreshingly honest about the limitations of a certain product in comparison to a competitors. Was such a great help and was the reason i made a purchase.
Overall, we've had a good experience with Harvey Norman on Moorhouse Ave. Most of the frontline staff provide consistently good customer service and the products this store carries are usually good quality. Unfortunately, we have had a terrible experience with one of the delivery vendors they use called Trengrove Transport. This vendor damaged a door in our home while installing the washer/dryer and the vendor manager rudely told us we can install the washer/dryer ourselves if we don't want their workers tracking in water/dirt from outside. If we could install the washer/dryer ourselves, we would not have paid an additional fee for the vendor to do it. We've talked with both the manager at Harvey Norman as well as the delivery vendor manager and it seems unlikely that anything will change. Going forward, we will NOT be working with Trengrove Transport as they have disrespected us and our home. Word of caution - Choose the delivery vendor wisely!
By far the young fellow, Logan W, that served us was exceptional polite and well versed in information on the products in his department. He even telephoned back with an extra offer, extraordinary life skills and will go far Harvey Norman should mentor him to be management. Also suggest he goes and trains the dreadful service over at Noel Leamington their service was absolutely NOT existing
