Amazing stay! Robert and Gary are great hosts! The place is super clean and well presented. Gary cooks great food ( most of the vegetables are from their garden) and so good at massage. Robert has a perfect garden and he also showed us how to milk a ( she is the happiest and the most beautiful cow I have ever seen) highly recommended. Oh, they also have a spa which overlooks the beautiful mountains!!!!
My mother-in-law celebrated her 80th birthday here. What a beautiful meal!!! Gary and Robert are fantastic hosts. Looking forward to spending a night or two here on a special occasion - hint hint hubby
My husband and I have just had the most wonderful stay at Ribbonwood Country House. There are so many good things about this place! First of all, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, the hosts: Gary and Robert are incredibly hospitable, and the room is very comfortable! We enjoyed stargazing in the spa, and soaking in the stunning nature. Thank you for everything, Gary and Robert! We’d recommend your business in a heartbeat!
Our recognition to Gary and Robert for their warm hospitality are well overdue. We had a perfect small wedding last January 2017 at Ribbonwood Country House! The stunning mountain ranges scenery and the majestic views provided an astonishing wedding backdrop. We and our friends thoroughly enjoyed the luxurious accommodations, the delicious wedding breakfast and sumptuous dinner that Gary cooked and prepared, and their service was impeccable. They handled our event with such expertise and grace ! They responded quickly to all our queries, accommodated our requests and gave excellent recommendations for florist and celebrant. They were were beyond helpful in the planning process and they made us feel like family the entire time we were there. We could'nt be any happier with our decision on choosing Ribbonwood and with how everything turned out even with windy condition! We can't thank them enough for making our day so wonderful and memorable. Gary and Robert are SUPERSTAR ! We highly recommend Margaret and the ladies from Cheviot Floral Art Group who did our bouquets and arc beautifully And our celebrant Ange Davidson who is confident, organise and delivered an amazing ceremony which flows with grace and ease. If you're looking for a great wedding venue or just wanting to relax in North Canterbury, you found the perfect place. You will love everything about Ribbonwood Country House.
What an amazing place! Hidden all the way in Cheviot, definitely recommend to have a wee look! Stunning views with amazing staff. Thank you sooo much for being so welcoming Gary and Robert 11/10 look at the foooood!!!!!
The best place yo go for a relaxing weekend, you are treated like royalty, and the rooms are immaculate, the beds are superb, I would recommend this break for any couple wanting a romantic few days
