Great experience. Good place for a bet and so much more. Watch the horses, place your bet, enjoy a drink and food. Upstairs have a meal. Nice outdoor seating area. Good TV screens. Just a great place to go.

The New Zealand Metropolitan Racing Club and the Addington Events Centre are really superb venues. Horse racing, greyhound racing and boxing to a name a rew events. Facilities can be hired for weddings, business functions and special events. The staff are really quite experienced at managing any event and do a great job behind the scenes ensuring all runs smoothly. Car parking is usually good but it can fill up quickly especially if there is several major events on at any one time.

Have attended the mid winter race night for several years,in the silks lounge.This year no smorgasbord, instead a set menu,with two options,bascially a "like it or lump it".Pork or steak..(the steak so rare was mooing).Hugely disappointed,woukd put me off going there again.
