Excellent customer service! I went in to buy a sewing machine and as a complete beginner, the lady offered to show me how to use my machine. It wasn’t a busy day and I was very impressed that she took the time to show me.
needed a dress altered so figured a week or two for sewing machine to get fixed would be more than enough time. brought the sewing machine in to get fixed at the end of october. we were told that the repair man had just left that tuesday morning and that it would be collected by next week - so, it would be ready the week after. there was no news after a week so we called the store the second week. still, no news and we were told to call back later that week. we did. STILL no results. we visited the store. customer service was lacking. we were left waiting. lack of problem solving initiative. no attention to detail. no urgency. it was then that staff said that usually if they are able to repair, it would’ve been completed within the week. no regard for our time or patience during this period where they failed to communicate this over a reasonable period of time. finally, we proposed getting the repairer’s details. not sure why we weren’t directly given the business card. staff member slowly copied the details for us. we contacted the number and were told that after a month of NO ACTION OR CONTACT that we could have to pay them over 40 for their “service.” AND that we would have to spend even more of our time AND gas to drive over to the other side of town to pick up our sewing machine - EVEN THOUGH they do routine visits to the shop WHERE WE DROPPED OFF our sewing machine. this is objectively irrational and illogical. this matter, from october 2018 dragged out until march 2019. unacceptable behaviour - no integrity or honour. failture to accept responsibility and this definitely violates the Fair Trading Act. 1986 did not end up wearing the dress for a special event mid november, as i had hoped. unacceptable.
Great staff who really know their stuff. If you need advice in this area, I would definitely recommend.

Can certainly recommend the above store ,friendly and nothing is a problem very helpful and repairs are not huge but very reasonable. Thankyou again
