It was a new place I've tried and my experience of one of great satisfaction. The meal was value for money, staff were very friendly and the meal was very tasty. I would recommend it to friends and family as well as readers on here to give it a try if you are in Christchurch.

The food is always amazing. The food tastes and looks like I am ordering from the best restaurant in the city. I ordered the Meat and Chips which look stunning and taste amazing. The portion is perfect and it is filling

Believe the hype, I’ll be coming here multiple times a week after my first visit. Everything is so good! Nice people and a friendly, well lit place. Cheap, Not busy and the Mexican is better than any Mexican resultant I have been to.

A shame to see Donut Boutique go, but these new lads at Cactus are an excellent addition to the neighborhood! The nacho's chilli was all pulled meat, no mince, and the vegetarian version has quinoa in it (my favorite at the moment). I had the mixed option, came with both of the meats plus the vegetarian filling - which was fantastic. Quesadilla were perfect thickness, about as wide as my pinky finger. Perfect moisture inside, not sloppy wet like some other places ive had. The tacos are amazing, have to reccomend the chilli lime chicken. Jalapeno poppers could be a little hotter for my own preference, but they are still super tasty and hey thats why I have hot sauce for anyway :) I mix copious ammounts of Tapatio through the chipotle at home to get things a bit more fired up. But my top choice so far is the meat on salad, whatever theyre marinading the meat in is blowing my socks right off.

Fast service and the food was great! Ordered the nachos, was very happy with the portion size and the quality of the food. Will definitely be coming back!

Wow, my husband and I just found our new favourite food location. Very clean dining area, lovely guy serving who gave us free little semolina coconut cakes( I think they’re called Harissa?) We are trying to save money so ordered one of the cheapest menu items and it was a generous regular sized meal. They have a Mexican and Middle Eastern menu too. We ordered from the Middle Eastern one and the flavour was healthy and authentic. We both said we were blown away by the price, quality and taste. The menu had lots of vegan items and it looks like a lot of gluten free food too. We will be back - often! Thanks
