Nice people, some great players and 4 lawns.Parking can sometimes be a problem due to the proximity of Christchurch Botanic Gardens,Tennis and Petanque facilities

I had the chance to visit this place. If you like croquet it looks pretty nice, the only con I could see was the fact that there was no shadow and, in a simple sunny day, it is just annoying. I guess I still recommend this place if you enjoy playing English sports.

Friendly club that caters for players of all ability levels. Players new to the game are welcomed and whether you just want to play socially or aspire to World Class, the club will assist you. Lawns regarded as some of the best in the world.

My partner and I visited here to see whether we wanted to take up Golf Croquet. The club treasurer was most rude to us. Without introducing himself he told us we must move our bikes. When we explained we were there to try the game at the time the club captain had suggested to us. he told us he would take our green fees off us?? He had still not introduced himself so I did. Thanks Tony if growing your sport and membership is your intention then perhaps try another approach. Felt very much like ageism in reverse and I'm 51.

NDY had their Christmas function there last Friday, and found the members very helpful and very competitive. A very enjoyable time was had by all, and has opened us to Croquet; which is quite a strategic sport and sometimes very aggressive. surprisingly!! Great Fun
