Went to a end of year work event at the town hall. The town hall has been restored to a very good look and feel of what it was in its former glory days before the earthquakes. A project of restoration well worth doing. The only bit is the walkway across Kilmore Street to the former Convention Centre. Nonetheless it was a great evening and really good its open again.

Lovely renovations.. good to see the old girl open. Looking forward to many concerts to come in this venue. However I didn't find any toilets upstairs in the gallery. Also one bar area. Big lines when there's big events.

Great experience at the Town Hall today at South Island Interior Design Fair. Friendly and helpful staff and a fun day catching up with so many talented designers and suppliers .

Poor organisation. Women's toilet upstairs and not labeled so men are using it in error. Phone ticket scanning not working properly. Steps everywhere so older people having difficulty getting to their seats. Absolutely no ability to social distance as they didn't allow admission until just before the show. Management needs to put more thought into operational procedures. Abysmal effort last night. It had the ability to spoil the show
