Big thank you to Georgina at the Hornby Branch in Christchurch. We walked in not knowing the first thing about choosing a house lot of curtains for our new build. Georgina was patient and extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions and gave us great tips on what to look for and things to think about when choosing our finishes. When we found what we liked we sent her an email and had a quote back by the lunchtime the next day! Thanks Georgina! You've made a new build that little bit less stressful!

Besides that I just want to ask a question to that store manager Mandy, Do you really have to talk that louder while discussing with your customers in store. Every single person in the store can hear and understand what your customers are upto. Not a great experience Mandy...

I don’t recommend using Curtain Studio as my experience was poor. Custom made curtains & blinds should be the correct length & width. Some of mine were not & the installation was sub-standard with the end securing hooks not being secured so when pulling the curtains they did not stay attached to the end of the tracks. I raised the issues immediately & was advised they were minor issues & would be corrected. I was also received an email from my consultant saying “Please don’t sit there and be p*s***about your beautiful curtains....enjoy them”. How can anyone enjoy spending over 7k and receiving curtains & blinds that do not fit properly, let alone receiving an email with that type of language. It took them 7 ½ weeks to rectify things, as I had asked for it all to be done in one visit to avoid taking too much time off work. I have waited a further week to see if I received a follow up to ensure I was happy but this has not occured. I did have some concerns when the initial consultation was carried out as the consultant seemed to be writing the measurements down rather randomly and it took a few times to get the correct details on the quote. I raised these concerns before accepting the quote and she said “I have been doing this for 15 years and am considered one of the best in the industry. I am very well known for the right reasons.” I regret not following my gut instinct at that point. I also did the emailed automated survey, and never got a response after giving them poor feedback. Furthermore, they require 100% payment before supplying your curtains and then take a very long time to rectify any issues. I would advise no one give 100% payment prior to installation.
