Warning: a long, but good read ahead... “Buying our 1st house” a scary & nerve-wracking thought. Something I thought my partner & I were not ready to do until we had heaps of zero’s showing in our savings account. Thanks to a couple of friends who gave us enough confidence to even just entertain the idea, we found Duane Aarts. I remember back in 2018 when we first started talking to Duane, how pessimistic I was about the whole “Buying our 1st house” thing. I thought for sure, we would definitely be stuck paying someone else’s mortgage off for years. Duane on the other hand, was always optimistic. He made sure to always listen, gather relevant information, come back to us with information where hardly any jargon was used. And even if there was, he always translates information in a way we would understand, however many times needed. Nearly 2 years later after a few life obstacles, our dream became a reality. Duane provided the best value professional advice I have ever encountered. The bank pays his fee in full (no cost to the customer) and Duane provides extensive advice and guidance on all aspects of the home buying process. He has fantastic industry contacts from insurance, to legal and building inspection, and is extremely conscientious, responsive, knowledgeable.
