Strayed in for Saturday lunch, during a long weekend. That the place was near empty when we arrived, did not reflect the quality of food on offer. Really enjoyed the braised beef cheek served on sticky rice with coconut cream in an Asian fusion style. Will be keen to try the Pork Belly, next visit.
Very yummy Gluten free pizza, light, crispy and the Crispy Chicken topping was worth going back for. Ella the Bar/waitress was lovely and friendly and very professional. We will be back. Thank you Lisa and Richard. Love Tiggy n Poppy! Xx
Delicious food, had the seafood platter which was all cooked perfectly! Would have been 5 stars if I didn’t watch the chef ring the bell when the food was ready and watched it sit there for almost 5 minutes (it wasn’t busy by the way) the staff were too busy talking to each other! I should of grabbed it myself!
The volume of music from both band and hifi is so loud it is permanently ruining the staff hearing. It is at an unsafe H&S level. The atmosphere, food and staff are wonderful but you can't enjoy it without your ears hurting.
Love this place! We come from Singapore for a company trip and decided to have our last dinner in New Zealand here. Turns out that it was a good decision! Foods are on point. Services are good and friendly. Vibes are very fun and all. Recommended: the roasted pork belly, fish tacos, and seafood chowder!
Love the upstairs balcony. Some good beer. Food is excellent pub fare. Nothing risky, or inventive, just good. Terrible Lemon Lime and Bitters. Maybe she was new.
Had a great meal and a ginger beer on tap which I think was ginger beer , beer .Very refreshing. Sat in the courtyard and listened to a live band for a while. Dux has 2 function rooms which were booked tonight. Obviously popular for celebrations. Staff ok, 1 questioned my choices as though I'd made a mistake. Clarified it again and then it was accepted. Not sure what the 3rd degree was about..anyway moving right along.
