We have used Beccy and Mikes services several times over the last 5 years and have been really impressed with their knowledge and service. They are always ready and able to help with any HR issues and make sure that we are always following the correct procedures. You will find them both easy to work with and have a wonderful understanding of what you are going through and are able to pinpoint very quickly what help and advice you require at a very reasonable cost. We were becoming increasingly unhappy with the way some of our employees were treating each other but having difficulty getting to the bottom of disputes, ending up in "he said, she said" situations. To resolve this we started by running a "Respectful Communications" workshop where the team agreed to a workplace standard, but as you can image old ways soon began to surface. At this point we engaged Beccy Warwick to assist us on how best to manage new complaints we had received. Beccy assisted me in working through the complaints, undertaking interviews and advising on who we should have "courageous conversation" about their behaviour, and which complaints met the standard for holding a disciplinary meeting and then assisting us in drafting up letters for these meetings and facilitating them, then following through with helping to determine the appropriate disciplinary action. Having Beccy sitting alongside us throughout this process significantly reduced our stress levels by knowing that we were being procedurally correct, as we're very aware that this is where alot of employers fall done. Not that their employee shouldn't have been disciplined for their actions, but that they got the procedure wrong, which can prove very costly. A secondary benefit we found was the everyone's behaviour was alot better with an external party in the room. The overall result of this support was that 2 employees left of their own accord and there has been a significant improvement in team morale and behaviour as they see that we will now act on poor behaviour. I would definitely recommend Beccy and the team at Essential HR if you're looking for support with HR issues.
