Derek and Steve of Johnstons hire are really good to deal with when it's time to hire gear. There prices are excellent, more importantly the gear they lend out is top notch. They are a centre we like dealing with as they treat you like one of there own.
Had to hire a digger on short notice to clear a slip on a sloping section. They had the diggers available and had the user manuals online to allow quickly checking the slope ratings in order to do the job safely. The equipment was in great condition, well maintained and they had it ready when I arrived to pick it up and they were flexible on the return time letting me know when the next customer had it reserved, so I wouldn't feel rushed. Nice and friendly folks, too.
Hired a furniture trailer on weekend. Very well presented. Great service. Well priced. Seemed a bigger trailer than I had from other places. Recommend Steve & Chris.
