Second time here, so good had to come back! The staff are excellent here and the food is very tasty. The mains are meant for sharing and it is a good experience. The mojitos they serve here are done well also.

Absolutely beautiful food & evening, we were a group of 11 & our waitress suggested the set menu, was well worth it, were able to taste test a variety of meals with incredible flavours from tuna salad to roast duck, pork crackling and many more. Will 100% be back. Staff were great as well & reasonable priced drinks too - also didn't need it but well worth it the creme brulee was top notch!
Visited KoS for the first time in March. A group of 10 of us had a fantastic meal. Geared to sharing both entrees and mains. All food was excellent and tasted great. Great wine list. Free parking at the door. Close to some good bars.
My go to spot for a meal in Chch when we visit. Always great service, interesting flavours, Asian fusion. Duck was a little rich and strongly flavoured, being used to peking duck and Chinese roast duck, as duck is rich already, the sweetness and flavour was a little overpowering. On the expensive side, but it's a treat for date night. 290 for 2 of us. We had 8 oysters (2ways), duck, spinach salad, tuna salad and a lovely Amisfield rose wine.

King of Snake is one of the great place to have food in city centre of Christchurch. You will get a feel for life in the city. The atmosphere is vibrant and relaxed, with a mix of shared seating, tables and bar stools. The food is delicious and perfect for sharing with a group. Great place to spend time with your closed one. Stuff was good and helpful. The interior of restaurant was awesome. It feels good. Totally recommended..
This meal was to die for. Only negative was it came too soon and we were still drinking our cocktails. The flavours were spot on. The staff amazing. We can recommend the entree wrapped in spinach leaf. 5 out of 5. We also recommend the half duck with mandarin sauce. Another 5 out of 5. Thank you for the wonderful Meal
Second time celebrating at this restaurant. Food is so flavoursome, great ambiance to the place. Shame all the staff are not as friendly and polite as Lewis.
