Giving it 5 stars for all the great memories this wonderful stadium provided, over the years. Witnessing it in person in early 2018 brought back memories of a lot of exciting cricket matches played here, however, it was very saddening to see the current condition of the stadium. It is not possible to enter the stadium. Few stands have already been demolished and the stadium is locked up. All the chairs have been removed from the stands and stacked up beside the playing area which is just unkempt grass now.

Ah what memories... watching and playing rugby there as a kid. Watching as an adult too. The greatest game of the century. Auckland v Canterbury Ranfurly Shield game in 85. Dire Straits concert. Walking down from Linwood High School to watch test cricket. Such a shame its coming down.

close to the action seating arrangements make a spectacular atmosphere for watching the footy. great experience. Better than the old ami stadium. I recommend every rugby fan in Christchurch to get along and support the new venue.
