The Theatre it self was fine- but being hushed from the young woman at the bar while waiting with a drink between shows was over the top in no uncertain terms- not that I was loud. Was I a child for goodness sake! What she could/should have said, with a smile, I might add, in a quiet voice to explain a show was going and would I mind lowering my voice and others congregating.

What a great venue. I go there for poetry events, and I'm always impressed by the welcome the poetry crowd gets. Poets expect very little, and LA over-delivers. Deffo go to Ray Shipley's late night poetry hours, if you get a chance.
