Car broke down on a Friday night and luckily Midas Hornby is open on a Saturday. Got the car towed to the workshop with a short period notice (probably an hour) and got the car fully diagnosed and price quoted within an hour. The guy explained the problems very thoroughly and gave us a quite generous discount because we’re uni students. I would say the price is fair for the services. Got back the car fixed on Monday afternoon, which is pretty quick for multiple problems (water pump, pulleys, bearings etc) fixed. Smooth drive, no more noises afterwards, so far so good! Thank you so much :)

Asked Midas to look at brakes as uneven and had failed warrant agreed to pay 55.00 for Midas to look at. Midas Hornby then quoted 600 hundred to replace module or over 2000 thousand if ABS I paid my 55.00. When I got my car back from Midas I was shocked that i had to put my foot almost to the floor to brake. The Midas mechanic while handing me my keys said my brakes NOW were not working on left side. Took car to brake expert who replaced pads and fluid under 200 hundred. Very dangerous and poor service.

I took my car here for a wof and got quoted 1600 for a bunch of stuff including transmission mount split, axels split , wheels, an apparent bad oil leak and a few other things. I took my car to another mechanics and I only needed wiper blades and a wheel alignment and passed a wof no worries. There was no sign of an oil leak or any of the other issues they said it had. I'm highly disappointed with this service and felt like they were trying to take advantage of someone who doesnt know much about cars. I would not reccomend anyone to go here

Wish there was a 0 STAR OPTION Totally disappointed with their service took my car for Horn check on weekend, checked it and after 15mints came back to me said they have done inspection and found Clock spring need to be replace which could be 200-300 and charged me inspection fee 40 took my car to another mechanic found it’s only Horn Relay which is 35 from super cheap.. What the hell guys Totally RIPPING off that 40 I paid for nothing plus you were trying to charge another 200/300 for a 50 job. Not going and telling others not go. Thanks
