Has some very mature native trees. Like stepping into a lush native bush, but right in the middle of the city

These gardens are different to the other ones, they feel more rain forrest like, with lots of tree ferns, lush and a deep green pond. It feels really secluded and it is really pleasant to just sit on a bench, listen to the birds and soak in the peace and quiet.

They are different gardens and everyone of them have a name is funny and easy to get lost on the different gardens, but they have amazing flowers. The trees over here are huge!

Love the idea of this place. Well-established native New Zealand trees/bushes, WITH LABELS. Gave me a chance to tell the difference between Rimu and Kauri, Totara and Matai trees. Flax and silver fern plants are also well maintained in this native paradise area of bush. Just west of the rose garden area at Botanical Gardens. Not well sign-posted. Not wheel chair accessible.

근방의 워터가든과 더불어 크라이스트처치 보태닉 가든의 정수이자 백미. 놓치면 너무나 아쉬운 뉴질랜드만의 느낌과 분위기가 있었다. 덤불 속을 거닐다 보면 어느새 마음이 평화로워지고 느긋해진다.
